Main was once a widely fitted value brand, and its products now sit within Baxi rather than standing on their own. That matters in practice: London still has a large installed base of Main boilers, but calling it a fully independent current range would be misleading. The Main Heating range
Main was a value brand, fitted widely by installers and landlords who wanted a dependable boiler at a low price. Its products now sit within Baxi, part of BDR Thermea. For an owner, "transitioning" means your Main is still an ordinary gas boiler that any Gas Safe engineer can service and repair, often with Baxi-group parts. It does not mean you can order a like-for-like new Main.
